Who we are

DipstickIQ is a brand of Fabrica de Sport, registered in Romania under fiscal code RO28556929. For anything about your data, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you request a free audit we collect your name, shop name, email, phone number, city, shop software, number of locations and any notes you add. Our server also records your IP address and browser type with each request, to protect the form from abuse.

If you upload shop exports, those files may contain your customers' names, contact details, vehicles and repair history.

How we use it

We use your contact details to run the audit you asked for, send you the results and talk to you about DipstickIQ. We process them because you asked us to, as a step before a possible contract.

The shop files you upload are handled on your behalf: your shop stays responsible for its customers' data, and we use the files only to produce your audit. We never contact your customers, and we never sell or share any of this data for marketing.

Who else handles it

• Hetzner Online GmbH hosts our server in Germany. Your form and files are stored there.
• Cloudflare, Inc. protects and speeds up the website. Traffic passes through its network, which can include servers outside the EU; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
• Our email provider delivers messages between you and us.

How we protect it

Everything is sent over an encrypted connection. Uploaded files are stored outside the public website, and only the DipstickIQ team can open them.

How long we keep it

Uploaded shop files are deleted within 90 days of delivering your audit, unless you become a customer. We keep your contact details for up to two years after we were last in touch, then delete them. You can ask us to delete anything sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP, or the authority where you live.

Cookies

This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, and its fonts are served from our own server.
